Harbin Weike Biotechnology Development Company is a high technology
enterprise , subordinated to Harbin Veterinary Research Institute
and engaged in Bio-engineering technology of preventive medicine
and research, development, provision and Post-sale service of bio-product.
Weike Biotechnology Development Company is made up of the following:
Animal Bioproduct Engineering-technology Research Center, Attenuated
Vaccine and Inactivated Vaccine GMP Standard Workshops, Monoclonal
Antibody Reagents and Nucleic Acid Preparations Workshop, Quality
Control Division, and Condition Assurance Division. Its main tasks
are to:
? meet the need of prevention and control of serious animal infectious
diseases by developing effective and practical animal bio-products
? raise manufacturing standards to the most advanced level in the
world
? provide for industrial development of animal bio-products with
matching technical measures
? solve key technical problems in GMP production
? study internationally certificated quality management standards
for bioproducts and chemicals
? boost development of the animal pharmaceutical industry
? train high-level staff.
Weike Company has 483 faculty members, including 25 senior researchers
and 65 assistant researchers, and it is always a pioneer in bio-product
industry. The company possesses over 40 types of bio-products, and
all the products are transformed from the research of HVRI which
is the most important research institute on animal infectious diseases
in China, especially on Avian Influenza, it provides the bio-product
with decreased side effects, fine emulsification, quick appearance
of antibodies, long protection period and sound stability, all of
these ensure perfect products and bring the company high prestige
in the industry.
With strong support and guidance from local governments and various
professional societies, and the diligent work of all the staffs

of serious animal infectious diseases, and in recently years it
has provided large amount of high-quality vaccine not only for the
whole China but also many foreign countries ,such as Vietnam, Indonesia,
Egypt and so on.
